How it started💸 the yo-yo investor
I started investing in 2013 and failed.
I was left feeling full of anxiety over my financial future. I had no idea how I was ever going to reach my financial goals so I could help care for my disabled sister.
Constant consumerism was draining my net worth. I bought stocks and made profits. Then I sold those stocks and spent the money on stupid shit.
7 years later, my net worth was stuck at £67K. I had a mortgage and savings, but no investments working for me.
I felt like I was failing at life…
then, the pandemic happened☎️ the wealth wake-up call
After years of no progress, I finally woke up to the problem that had been staring at me in the face this entire time—inflation. I realised the greedy government and the bastard banks were the root cause of why I was falling behind. If I wanted to achieve my goal of financial freedom, I needed to learn the language of money to successfully grow my money.
So in 2020, I tried again.
I opened a brand-new investing account and immediately transferred £965 out of my bank account savings. From that day on, I became a long-term investor.
And I never looked back.
